Award-winning mixologist, Jeret Peña, was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Jeret was part of the reopening of one of San Antonio's prized jewels, The Esquire Tavern. Under Peña’s leadership, The Esquire Tavern's bar program had been nominated as a semi-finalists for the James Beard Award’s Outstanding Bar Program, and Peña has also been recognized as a “Rising Star Mixologist” by StarChefs.com.

After years spent cultivating some of the city’s finest cocktail programs, he opened his own concept, The Brooklynite, in 2012. While The Brooklynite is known for its award-

winning cocktails, its attention to customer service and uniquely designed atmosphere are equally noteworthy. Peña has also opened Still Golden Social House, a casual alternative to The Brooklynite’s high-end speakeasy feel. Still Golden offers a wide variety of craft beers, as well as carefully crafted cocktails, and allows guests to sit outside to enjoy the San Antonio evening air. Most recently, Jeret has been involved in multiple bar acquisitions and is months away from reopening Still Golden Social House.
